Netgear wg311v2 on Debian - PLEASE HELP
Hello
I am trying to install my Netgear WG311v02 (TI Chipset) on Debian (Kernel 2.6.9-2-686) with no success. I was using the HowTo at ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/phpwiki.
After driver installation, I do
# ndiswrapper -l
Installed ndis drivers:
wg311v2 driver present, hardware present
which looks ok.
# modprobe ndiswrapper
executes without complaints.
But in "dmesg" I see:
ndiswrapper version 1.0rc2 loaded (preempt=yes,smp=no)
PCI: Found IRQ 10 for device 0000:00:0e.0
ndiswrapper (ndis_init_one_pci:95): Windows driver couldn't initialize the device (C0000001)
wg311v2: probe of 0000:00:0e.0 failed with error -22
ndiswrapper: driver wg311v2 (NETGEAR, Inc.,04/04/2004,6.0.2.23) added
which made me think that the IRQs have a mismatch. Tried both different PCI Slots and set the IRQ manually in BIOS differently, but always the same message.
Is there anyone who can help me? I would appreciate it greatly!
thanks
Krdr
PS: I am rather new to Linux, please consider when explaining... merci
