What is Linux 8? I am guessing you mean RedHat 8.
Anyway, can you post here the output of typing into a terminal:
lspci -v

First, next time use a better thread title.
Second, were gonna need a type of sound card, we can't guess at it as there are so many different types of cards out there.
Third, have you tried sndconfig ?
Fourth, What do you mean Linux 8.0 ? What specific distro are you using ? There are many distro's out there with a version 8.0.

You guys are so much better at that than I am, I was going to ask
kinginjinn about the future (maybe get some scores on important sporting
events, etc.), but I decided that it would just be rude.
