Multiple lun


I use RHEL linux server and have a SAS controller pluged into it , this card have multiple lun function , now I want to use the multiple lun feature , can advise what I need to do on my linux server so that this function could be enabled ? thx

How about providing some useful information? You don't say what version of RHEL Linux, what brand/model of SAS controller, plugged in to what kind of interface, with what drives attached to it.

I'd suggest you get the user manuals for your controller, and read it. Check their website for installation details/drivers/etc. And since you have RHEL, you're paying for support, so I'd contact them.

RHEL 4 , LSI SAS card pluged into PCI-x slot ,
the driver has been installed , but how can I know the multiple lun is enabled or not ? thx

Ok...WHICH LSI SAS card??? Did you look at the installation instructions?

There are several models of 1068. LSI's website has multiple PDF documents, going through setup and installation, and multiple LUN's.
