MSI TV Anywhere, wonked sound

I recently got a MSI TV Anywhere Master tuner card, I have it using the cx88 driver. Video works good, but the sound just comes out like white noise static. I have looked around but found no solutions that seem to work, any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm running Gentoo, kernel 2.6.9-gentoo-r9. Here's a slightly abridged lspci and lsmod output:

lspci -vv

This card is not able to do the default QuasiSplitSound demulation. You have to force the IF part to Intercarrier:

open /etc/modprobe.conf, and add this:
options tda9887 qss=0

Hope this helps
