Mouse very sensative on laptop

Hello everyone,

I have mandriva 2007 on my laptop. My mouse is very sensative and that is very annoying. Like, when I want to click something, a very brief touch after the first click means I double clicked it. I tried to remove acceleration setting from the mouse module, but it seems like it doesn't quite work.

Can anybody help please?

Some parts of a mouse are more sensitive than others. Stay away from its back legs. That is a very sensitive area.

Well, my "touchpad" is very sensative.
