mouse problem

i have an optical ps/2 sweex mouse (5 butons),
its movement is jerky, i can't close a window (thank god for alt+f4)
here is the mouse selection from xf86config file:
Code:
Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Mouse0" Driver "mouse" Option "Protocol" "Auto" Option "Device" "/dev/sysmouse" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" EndSection
i tried an ordinary mouse and it worked fine, maybe i should change the protocol, because the "auto" isn't working well

sorry about the double thread, please delete this one

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
