Mouse cursor jumps randomly

My wife use All-in-One Lenovo desktop PC, working under Mageia 7 Linux distro. Desktop is equipped with 27 inch touch screen. Because of hardware failure, mouse cursor jumps randomly around screen. Because of that, I disabled touch screen driver in file /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/40-libinput.conf that way:

Code:
Section "InputClass"
        Identifier "libinput touchscreen catchall"
MatchIsTouchscreen "off" # CHANGED FROM ON to OFF
        MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event*"
        Driver "libinput"
EndSection
The same result was possible under WIN10, simply by disabling appropriate HID device from Control Panel.

Now its OK, because touch screen is totally unnecessary. Ordinary mouse is enough. Of course Mageia boots from HDD.
But how can I disable this driver in Knoppix 8.2 ? I mean about Live version, booted from USB memory stick. Any idea?

If it requires a module, you can blacklist it. If it's built into the kernel... I don't know off-hand.

Yes. But Live Knoppix distro is a set of text files containing ziped binaries and other files. So how can be any file modify (including blacklist for example) ?

Now I don't have that Lenovo model, but for the laptop I use, there's a BIOS setting for disabling touchpad. The manual recommends disabling, if using a mouse as pointing device...

Yes. Most laptops have option to enable/disable touchpad in BIOS and/or hot-key. But this PC has touch screen and there is no such option in BIOS.
