mount dvd and floppy dosent work in the /etc/fstab

hi

if i runing this mount commnad the mount is ok :

mount -t iso9660 -o ro /dev/hdc /mnt/dvd/

but in the /etc/fstab its seems that someting is worng becuse when the machine bootsup without the mount

the /etc/fstab look like :

/dev/Vol0/LogVol00 / ext3 defaults 1
LABEL=/boot /boot ext3 defaults 1
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0
sysfs /sys sysfs defaults 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noauto,owner 0
/dev/hdc /mnt/dvd iso9660 noauto,user,rw 0
/dev/hdb1 /Files/Server ext3 defaults 1
/dev/sda1 /Files2/Server ext3 defaults 1
/dev/Vol0/LogVol01 swap swap defaults 0

and also the floppy dosent work

is the dvd mount in this file should look like this for auto mount :

/dev/hdc /mnt/dvd iso9660 noauto,user,rw 0 0

and the floppy :

/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noauto,owner 0 0

10xx

Try changing it to 'auto' instead of 'noauto'. With auto option it should mount automatically.

I've had some problems with my floppy as well. After some searches I found the following command that worked fine for me:
sudo modprobe floppy
Here it's my fstab line for floppy:
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 auto rw,user,noauto,exec,utf8 0 0
