mount Creative MuVo 2

Hello
I've just bought a mp3 player:
Creative NOMAD MuVo 2 1.5gb
While its recharging the battery, i tried to put some files on it.
I used the following mount command to mount it:
Code:
mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/mp3speler
But it said:
Quote:
/dev/sda1: Input/output error
mount: you must specify the filesystem type
So i tried:
Code:
 mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/mp3speler
But then it says:
Quote:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda1,
or too many mounted file systems
So how can i mount my mp3 player so i can put my mp3 files on it?
Thanx Hylke
btw, my kernel version is: 2.4.26

Update:
USBFS didn't work after all, cus it wasn't mounting my mp3 player at all.
I've followed a gentoo howto for usb storage things, but now it still doesn't work.
Anoyne got an idea?
