more ati problems

ok, i supposedly I installed all the drivers correctly. When I rebooted my machine it prompts me to login without X running. I do so and then type startx to run KDE. It acts like it is going to start then gives me the error message saying:

Fatal Server Error:

Cannot run in framebuffer mode. Please specify busIDs for all devices.

I looked at the x.org log file and got the same message. Any clue what to change?

you could try to add: ' BusID "PCI:1:0:0" ' in the "device " section of your xf86.conf,

replace "1:0:0 " with the ID you get from the output of " #lspci ".
