Monitor HP 1530 Input Signal Out of Range

I've connected my hp1530 LCD monitor and everytime when I boot to FC5, it says "Input Signal Out of Range". A few seconds later the monitor shuts down. I have to keep on pressing the power button to on the monitor. But when I boot to Windows XP, it is fine. No problem. What's the problem?

I would bet that the vertical and horizontal sync rates in your xorg.conf file (which is in /etc/X11) are inappropriate for your monitor. You can use a Live CD like Knoppix to boot it up, then manually edit your xorg.conf

Good luck with it
