Monitor dpt_i2o RAID status

With software RAID you can look at /proc/mdstat to see what drives are off-line and so forth. With an IBM ServeRAID card you can use ipssend and various other things to probe the card and the RAID to see it's health, initiate rebuilds, etc...

What about Adaptec/DPT hardware RAIDs though? I have RedHat 8.0 installed on a SuperMicro server with Adaptec 2010S zero-channel RAID card and it's recognized as a DPT and loads the dpt_i2o module. It works fine... However, how do I check the status of the configured RAID without taking the server down and booting the CD or entering the cards BIOS? I've read about some utilities which do this from DPT but can NOT figure out what needs installed either from the regular Adaptec (they bought DPT) or the Adaptec opensource site.

Thanks...
