Mint wont recognise All in One Docking

Hello everyone
I have an All in One Docking System i'm trying to get to work such as the one on this site http://wanlongxin.en.made-in-china.com/ ... 876C-.html
the web site says it compatable with Linux (although the backup function will only work with windows),It worked out the box with windows but Linux doesn't seem to be recognising it,I've tried an old compact flash card and several usb pen drives (which work ok when i plug then directly into the pc), can anyone tell me if there is there anything i have to do to get Linux to recognise it,I'm running Mint 12 Gnome 3 any help would be much appreciated

Many Thanks
Graeme

Have you went to Mint's forum? You may get more help from there.
