Angry Marvel Yukon drivers


I am a total newbi on linux
but i have some programing lesons an and...

Ok the problem is how the hel to install the Marvel Yukon driver for linux. I am using fedora core 3 and 4 not the 4th version but i can not instal the drivers for my network card. Somebody knows how can i do that.

I have read a lot of instructions but nothing it wont install

The nevest driver is on www!syskonnect!de and i downloaded it. but it vont work

it says didnt find the kernel header files ok they are somwehe in /usr/inlude/linux....

but the install.sh has the line in that hte kernel files are in /usr/src/linux

but there is nothin useful the linux folder doesnt exist

ok i have made a line to line replacement to the original directory but when everything starts then the compiler has an error - your version is xxxx.20 and the compiler or driver wants xxxx.21

Can somebody help me please

Hi

I have a Marvel Yukon Gigabit NIC on my ASUS A8V mobo.

Try /sbin/modprobe sk98lin (to load the needed module)

Then ifconfig eth0 and reconfigure your network.

If this gets your NIC working make sure that sk98lin is loaded at startup so you dont have to redo this after each reboot.
