LVM issue

Dear people

Here is the deal. My computer died due to power supply
failure, I dont know if the motherboard was compromised
too. So, I have this HDD under LVM2 (I was using kernel
2.6.15) that I desperately need to mount. I have some
important information inside it. However and due to the
crash, I could not exported it. So far, I have not been
able to mount it and I am not knowledgeable with LVM. Any help?

Thanks

Paulo

you can get knowledge from following URL's

nformation about Logical Volume Manager (LVM) is in the installed documentation:

rpm -qd lvm

For information about LVM on the web, please see the following links:

* http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/e...lvm-intro.html - contains an overview on LVM, link(s) to the mailing lists, and more.

* http://tldp.org/HOWTO/LVM-HOWTO/ - LVM HOWTO from the Linux Documentation Project.
