Looking for advice on video
Ok, here's the current setup. My Linux box has a Soyo KT 600 motherboard, AMD Athlon XP 2500 CPU, 512 MB RAM and an ASUS Nvidia GeForce 2 64MB video. On my gaming box, which unfortunately is a Windoze machine, I have an XFX Nvidia GeForce 5200 128 MB card. I'm planning on purchasing an XFX Nvidia GeForce 5200 256 MB card for that system, and putting the 128 MB card in the Linux box. The only reason I have the Windoze box is for gaming, because it's more difficult to find the games I like ported to Linux. At least not soon enough for my liking. So, I keep a Windoze box for that purpose. Anyway, the question is, has anybody had any problems with a similar setup, using that card? Also, my OSs are Xandros 3.0 OCE, Slackware 10.0, and Fedora Core 3, all on separate, removable hard drives. Any help, advice and/or suggestions will be appreciated.
