I once read a discussion about using the TV-tuner(of a TV-only TV card) to get radio reception and how it should be possible by patching bttv. But I cannot find the discussion anymore.
Would be great if someone could help me out!
And please no posts "this is impossible" unless you can give _really good_ reasons.
Television frequencies are just one step below FM radio so It's likely that your TV tuner can also pickup FM, however, the trick would be accessing it. It would depend on the Card Mfg and the tuner.
Most radio stations now have streaming broadcasts so It's probablay easier that way.
Yeah, thanks for the idea with streaming. Unfortunately my internet connection here is so bad(in the evening with forced proxy, max 50kb/s) that that's only possible during non-peak hours.
