Angry Linksys wusb11 2.6 trouble with Slackware 12.2 (kernel panic)

Having a problem with my wusb11 v2.6 card using ndiswrapper in slackware (gee... whoda thunk?). After I run "modprobe ndiswrapper", "dhcpcd wlan0" and iwconfig wlan0, the system hangs and I get a kernel panic error. I also tried ndisgtk, and the kde wifi manager, but I get the same problem. I'm not sure exactly how to proceed... I love my slackware, but unless I can get it to work with my wifi, I'm doomed to use windoze on this box. Can anyone help me escape this horrible tragedy!?

Check this page:

If I looked at it correctly, there is a linux driver for you card. If the module for it is already loaded, loading ndiswrapper could cause a problem. Don't know, but for an example, I have to blacklist ath5k to use madwifi or ndiswrapper.
