The only inf file on the disc is autorun.inf and it is for autorunning autorun.exe in Windows. Is that really the thing? And also the autorun.exe is not the driver but the driver for device is setup.exe

The setup.exe will (in Windows) extract and install the files you need - they are eighter in the setup.exe or in some other place on that driver-disc.
That much is certain.
Unfortunately I have no idea (right now) how to extract those while not on a windows machine.
For that, trying to install the driver using "wine" could work in that you then would have the .inf (and .sys) file you need to make ndiswrapper work.

If I find the driver disc that came with my WLAN-PCMCIA-Card I'll have a look and maybe figure out how to extract the needed files.
I had this installed when I still had Windows - so I just copied the files from there and used them for ndiswrapper.

Does someone know how to extract the drivers from an install disc?

I managed to download and extract them using wine and a little cheating.
downloaded from here:

If you drop me a note I could send it via mail - or do you know some sharing host? Mail is the easy way.
