Env: Debian 9.9 4.9.0-9-686-pae
Connected to internet via usb tethering with Android device
Prb : Randomly (once a week) Debian disconnect from network
Action:restarting network does not reconnect
Investigating ...
at trouble time i always find this kernel error msg

usb 2-7 device descriptor read/64 error -110
___________________________________________________
modprobe usbcore permit me to access the device again
via filemanager,but rndis interface does not reconnect
Searching internet i cannot find error -110 explanation
is an hardware error ? or a software problem ?
reboot the pc restore normal operations .
any help will be appreciated

Thanks for the answer
i install 'moreutils' and now i can issue
'errno 100' and get
ETIMEDOUT 110 Connection timed out
now i know it is only a communication timeout ...
but the obvoius question is
How to relieve without booting the pc ?
i tried to restart
networking
network-manager
but it does not resolve situation
i tried 'modbrobe usbcore' to reload usbcore module and deps to kernel
in this way i'm able to see again android internal memory ...mtp driver
i tried to disconnect reconnect to usb the android device but still unable to launch again usb tethering ...
how to relieve without booting ?
is there a timeout parameter that can be changed ?
any help will be aprreciated
