is it possible for me to run 3 monitors?

i've got a Geforce 7300 GS 256MB Dual out - 1 VGA and 1 DVI and also my mainboard has onboard Video...

at the moment i'm running dual monitor of the Video Card, but i was wondering if it's possible to somehow use the onboard Video as well for a third monitor?

by the way i'm using Fedora 10
Mainboard: P5L-VM1394

Hi

You can indeed have multiple monitors on your machine, including the internal video adapter.

Checkout X Windows configuration on the www.

There are a number of practical limitations depending on your requirements though.

For example, it is often the case that one uses multiple display adapters with the same basic hardware (specifically memory, resolution capabilities, etc), in order to ensure that the displays are of the same size and resolution on each monitor.

Configuration is achieved by correctly coding the xorg.conf file.

There are some solid tutorials out on the www, and there is documentation at the LDP (linux documentation project) site.

Let me know if you are still having problems, and I'll dredge up some links to tutorials if you need some more basic help.

Regards

Chris
