Unhappy Is Gigabyte 965P-S3 motherboard Red Hat Compatible?


Hi everyone,

I am very new to Linux world but I am really interested in linux.
I have a PC with Gigabyte 965P-S3 motherboard and 250 GB SATA hard drive. It also has followings:
-256MB Leadtek Graphics Card (PC-Express)
-Onboard 8 channel soundcard
-LAN
-IEEE 1394
-Pentium D 945 3.4GHz
-1GB DDR2 RAM

Please help me out with the RED HAT LINUX installation if compatible.

Red Hat has now become the Fedora project www.fedora.redhat.com I see no reason fedora 6 would not run on your machine. Verry simple installation.
