I have a 82845G/GL [Brookdale-G] Chipset Integrated Graphics Device. I had installed Redhat 8.0 but had no luck configuring the X from 1024x768 resolution. I could compile the Xfree 4.3.0. (binaries are available too -ftp://ftp.xfree86.org/pub/XFree86/4.3.0/binaries/ see the Install file for details on how to install ) and It works fine. I dont know about any distro which has it.
