I'm running Mandriva 2008 on a HP Pavilion 533w. The onboard video shows up as a Mesa DRI Intel(R) 845G 20061017 x86/MMX/SSE2. In the X server settings it shows the driver as an "Intel 810 or greater" . Cedega shows that it doesn't have hardware accel support, even though it is checked in the x server settings through "config your computer". I've heard that I need to install a kernel module to support the Intel 845G, but I don't know how to do it or if this module must be downloaded or simply activated. Could you tell me how to upgrade the driver and/or get hardware acceleration going? Thanks

use root powers to lsmod and look for i810 if not found try

modprobe i810
