Junior Hacker Senior Member Registered: Jan 2005 Location: North America Distribution: Debian testing Mandriva Ubuntu Posts: 2,687 Rep:	Intel 537ep modem & Mandrake 10.1 Check out this utility to help you out, it is small & tells you what to do including links --> http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/first.html Also check the archives if you have a different configuration ---> http://linmodems.org/cgi-bin/ezmlm-cgi/1 Problem solved: Had to edit (change) the word "Proprietary" to "GPL" which occured once in two files in Intel coredrv directory, the files are coredrv.c & softserial.c from this package -> intel-537EP-2.60.80.1_12_06_2006.tar found at this site: http://phep2.technion.ac.il/linmodem...lippe.Vouters/ Last edited by Junior Hacker; 01-09-2007 at 11:18 PM.
