Installing webcam and modem in FC6

I have webcam Philips pcvc675K vesta. I downloaded the latest driver but can't install, cos it is supported for older kernel and there are no my kernel (2.6.18) patches. The same troubles for softmodem Connexant HFS... I downloaded the latest patch for my kernel. Does it solve problems? Or how I can to solve this problems?

You probably got the older pcvc675K driver from http://www.smcc.demon.nl/webcam/. http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/showdr.php?id=12 says you should check out http://www.saillard.org/linux/pwc/ for a fork of this driver.
Your Connexant HFS should be in the http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/ and else searching LQ fora should find you enough threads to use.
