Installing NVidia Geforce7300 in 2.4.21 kernel

Hi,

I have been trying to install an nvidia graphics card for my Redhat enterprise linux version 1. I used the driver NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8178-pkg1.run driver. But when I start the XServer I am getting a yellow screen with vertical lines and the OS freezes after that.

Can someone help in fixing this issue.

regards
duraivel

Please post the content of your X log - it will assist in finding what might be going wrong.

Mine is at /var/log/Xorg.0.log
