Installing joystick
How stoes one install joystick support for a Gravis Xterminator (gameport not USB) running off of a Soundblaster Live 5.1, running kernel 2.4 (Mandrake 8.2)???
I kinda need a step by step instruction, although I have done modprobe gameport and modprobe joydev.
I don't have a created js# in /dev. What is the process of creating such a reference???
Can anyone help out???

Hi!
/sbin/modprobe joydev
/sbin/modprobe emu10k1-gp
/sbin/modprobe sidewinder
For Gravis Xterminator, I'm not sure if there would be a special module in the last line, as for me sidewinder. emu10k1-gp is the game port of a SB live, instead of standart game port module.
regards,
ajk
