Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

IMPS/2 protocol clarifications

Hi guys,

I'm running a FC1 installation, and in my xorg.conf file my mouse is set up to use IMPS/2 protocol and everything runs fine.

Now when I start AlmusVCU (http://www.ludd.luth.se/~torger/almusvcu.html), which has a built in mouse support module, my mouse runs completly crazy, opening windows randomly, ecc...

I was told by the author I need an IMPS/2 compatible mouse to run fine with AlmusVCU module, which I think I have due to my xorg.conf.

Now does anyone know a list of IMPS/2 compatible mice?

Or maybe is it possible that the problem is dued to a conflict given by FC1's IMPS/2 module which is disabled and then AlmusVCU's IMPS/2 module which is loaded?

I runned AlmusVCU with Suse9.1 and I had no problem with the same mouse, but I never checked xorg.conf file in Suse 9.1.

Can anyone help?
