I just got a new Acer AL1717 monitor but all the words on the screen are blurry to me. After a little while it makes my eyes hurt. Can I make an adjustment somwhere to fix this. Please give instructions for monitors for dummies.
Could you give us some basic information? Perhaps...what distro are you using?, what video card?, is this a fresh install or just an upgraded monitor? What resolution are you using?
I dob't know what distro is and I'm not sure what video card I have. I am on my computor at work and we upgrades my old HUGE monitor to this flat screan. I did change my resolution to 1280x1024 and the font size to large. I also changed the contrast from very bright to about 50%. I think that may have helped some. I'll try working with these settings and see how my eyes adjust. If you have any other suggestions please let me know.
Thanks!
