Angry I dont know whts my XServer


Hey friends I am new member both to this site and to Linux .I was a windows phreak but i discontinued with windows .

My problem is that I ordered my UBUNTU cds now they are with me
but i am installing it first time so i dont know wht to do .I tried to install the Live cd but it was asking my XServer .I dont know whts that ..My configuration is:AMD athlon 2800+ 64 bit processor.Motherboard:K8M Neo-V .V class.! Gb ram .120 GB Hdd.
Now i dont know whts my xserver how to know it and even my vendor dosent know it
.Wht is the resolution it was aking i just dont know wht that.Please help me I am New to linux and eager to learn about it.Thanks

I'm pretty sure that Ubuntu uses Xorg as the Xserver.
