Even though its for Mandrake does not matter. Mandrake is just LINUX distribution. It is also based on Redhat. The solutions that you find for Mandrake should work well in Redhat and many other LINUX distributions. In LINUX you have to be resourceful.

What are the steps of the solutions that you found?

hi there,

i have found solutions on solving the hurricane modem under mandrake linux platforms. however, those filenames that are found inside the mandrake linux cds are different from redhat cds.
for instance,

libusb0.1_4-devel-0.1.6a-2mdk.rpm --->cd3 mandrake9.1
libusb0.1_4-0.1.6a-2mdk.rpm --->cd3 mandrake9.1
libpcap0-0.7.2-2mdk.i586.rpm --->cd3 mandrake9.1
liblinux-atm1-2.4.1-2mdk.i586.rpm --->cd3 mandrake9.1

these files can be found inside mandrake cds however, they cannot be found in redhat cds. anyone knows of their filenames inside redhat cds?

more information on this type of modem can be found under:
(this link provides the solution of hurricane modem under mandrake platforms because zyxel630-11/13 has the same chipset as the hurricane 8000 modems)
http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ckage_id=86598

thanks. reply will be greatly appreciated.
