HSF Modem working but...

I after much searching have my conexant (HSF internal) modem working on Mandrake 10.1

My problem is that every time I boot I have to run hsfconfig again.

If I don't then kppp tells me my device is missing.

So dopes anyone know how I can make my modem config stick after a reboot?

and secondly - am I posting in the right place? I'm new

under their hsf section for drivers also their support for help.

I also have to run alsaconfig as those settings are not being held either
