The printer uses the HPLIP driver. It should be available through the Synaptic package manager. You will need cups installed also. For the scanner, go here -->
http://www.sane-project.org/lists/sa...EWLETT-PACKARD and look through the list of supported scanners. There is a SanJet 2400C. If that is your scanner, there is a driver marked as 'Untested'. You can try it.
If that doesn't work, then you can always do what I did. I installed Sun's Virtual Machine, and installed XP, just to run my scanner. It works well that way. The interesting part, XP boots faster ( way faster ) when run as a guest system on linux, than as stand alone.
