How to syncronize a Philips Velo with Evolution?

I've got about a decade old Philips Velo that runs Windows CE 1.0 that I'd like to syncronize with Linux and hopefully Evolution. Is this possible? It connects via a serial port. I've seen the Raki icon that has the active sync icon, but I've no clue how to get it to work. I'm currently running Suse 9.3 Pro. Any suggestions?

Thanks

I figure I've got to get pppd to connect to it first. I'm able to elicit a response from the velo when I type pppd /dev/ttyS1 19200 , but it just says trying to connect and tries 4 times before it gives up. I've documented all of my settings in windows that allow me to connect the device, which are listed below:
Com2
Port Speed: 19200
Flow Control: Hardware
Data bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop Bits:1

Users:
Guest
√Always allow directly connected devices such as palmtop computers to connect without providing a password.

Networking
TCP/IP:
√Allow callers to access my local area network
√Assign TCP/IP addresses automatically using DHCP
√Allow calling computer to specify its own IP address

How do I go about setting ppd to match these settings?

Thanks
