Someone wants to back up his collection of CDs, DVDs and BluRay discs and wants to identify programmatically what type of disc is in there.
How can that be done?
Would it be possible just to dd the contents to memory?
This link says use dd.
I mean, he will have to put each disc in by hand, so he will know what it is and the title.
Maybe use rsync?
Are the disc type and title available on the disc??
