How to enable HBA failover

Hi All,

I am after some information on HBA failover in Linux?

I am running RedHat 8, I have two qlogic QLA2200’s. I have installed the latest driver from the qlogic website, and have enabled failover (I think) using SANsurfer.

Fdisk –l shows all of my LUNS twice. I am unsure of what to do next. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Are you HBA's dual port or single port? I use dual port HBA's (QLA2342) and the driver that comes with the RedHat 9 distro automatically setups up the HBA for failover.
