how to confirm PSU status

My pc got Redhat installed.
During BIOS boot a battery missing can be seen.
I wonder whether I can confirm the battery or psu status in the OS
environment. I have collected sysreport but I do not know how to confirm the infomation.

Please help.
Thank you very much.

I believe the info you are after are in /proc directory and then under /proc/acpi as well. You can do ' cat /proc/cpuinfo ' to see what is in the file.

I suggest writing down all the information that you see in the BIOS and get a new battery. To check the voltage of the CMOS battery, use lm_sensors. The voltage will not tell you that it is dead. You need a button battery checker to test if it is dead or good.
