How the dates work?????


When the computer is on... we assign a date and time ... my question 9is how is the system automatically adjusting time when i start my machine even months after... just curious ;0

May i take a guess and say that it is even on when the computer is turned off!!!!! Even so even when you remove the parts wont you get electricuted... srry bit out of my league... and yo thanks for the quick reply

Basically system date and time are stored in memory of CMOS chip.so when you start your pc memory get updates and it adjust perfect
date and time.For that only one time you have to set date and time in to BIOS setting by pressing DEL key when you start computer.
