Smile How enough is an 6C12T HP Ryzen laptop?

Hardware info:
HP 15s laptop 599.9GBP
Ryzen 5500U with Radeon APU 6C12T
1080p screen 15.6’’ with discrete Radeon
29.8GiB RAM's 129.9GBP
3.63TiB NVMe SSD 369.9GBP

OS: Artix; Void; FreeBSD 13-STABLE; Calculate; Mocaccino; Funtoo; Venom ...

I run the laptop for playing retro games by Mednaffe, like SRW OG and before; TEKKEN vs Street Fighter; TEKKEN ≤6; Street Fighter ≤4; and so on ... And also live streams and post-edits of those gameplays which will be uploaded on YouTube

PS Why are some people also insisting on being irrational towards HP? HP has a rather good reputation from those local communities i'm with

Laptops in general are not designed for speed but usually a combination of speed and portability and power usage.

All the specs look great if you have all supported in OS.

The software you mention doesn't seem to me to be overly resource hungry.

HP in my opinion has great linux support both on things like printers and linux OS installed hardware. However everyone has an opinion.

Yes not resource hungry, but it's actually due to the HP laptop’s decency
Plus no, i never got unused hardware until that HP 15s, all those previous and used laptops were at best just 4 h/w threads
There was too little luck for me on h/w choices until i get HP 15s which has 6C12T Ryzen 5500U

HP bios in my experience generally interferes more than Dell or Lenovo with your ability to move the machine out of its out of the box configuration, but YMMV with individual models. And on the mechanical side, a lot of laptops won't let you change much hardware that come with them anyway (much is often soldered into the board that didn't have to be).

That'll be quite enough.
