i am trying to mount my usb flash drive to get a file to attach to an email. when i saved it, i was using suse 10.4 on my laptop and it was automatically detected. i am at school now, and am using fedora 12 on vmware, and it didn't pick up the drive. below is my fstab:
#
# /etc/fstab
# Created by anaconda on Fri Sep 16 16:28:34 2011
#
# Accessible filesystems, by reference, are maintained under '/dev/disk'
# See man pages fstab(5), findfs(8), mount(8) and/or blkid(8) for more info

i understand that i have to add a line to it indicating where to mount it, but have no idea what it should look like. any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanx all. it turns out that it was a setting on the vmware, not the fedora. i am used to running suse 11.4, but for class we use fedora 12 on vmware, so the instructor showed me how to make the usb available. once again, thanx.
