Here's my setup:
- Radeon 9200 SE with two outputs, DVI and VGA
- Apple Cinema Display 20" LCD on the DVI output (primary display) at 1680x1050
- Sony CPD-200ES CRT on the VGA display (secondary) at 1024x768
- Open-source radeon driver
- Dual-head set up with the radeon driver's MergedFB option, combined resolution 2704x1050
- Fedora Core 5
- Kernel 2.6.16-2122_FC5 (stock Fedora kernel)
After many hours of struggling, I finally got this working the way I wanted. However, when I hibernate the box using
or using Desktop > Shutdown > Suspend..., it suspends fine, and resumes, but the Apple display remains off, triple-blinking its LED (which indicates some sort of problem), and the CRT displays the message "OUT OF SCAN RANGE" - which suggests to me that for whatever reason it's not restoring the 2704x1050 resolution when it resumes.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
David
