help with kernel error


Hello everyone!
would anyone please help me Identify this error message:
" linux kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0"
I receive this error message after suse 9.3 was reboot.
I don't know if the floppy drive or the cable is not good.

Did you insert any defective/faulty disket into floppy disk drive?
