I m trying to install backtrak3 on my pc bt the following errors have stucked me up..
Firstly when i boot i get the following error msg.
Loading /boot/vmlinuz...................................................
Loading /boot/intitrd.gz..................................
Ready
You passed an undefined mode number.
Press <RETURN. to see video modes and <SPACE> to continue or wait 30 secs.
Though it boots up ant finally takes to the CUI modo telling me to enter 'root' as user and 'toor' as password.
I did dat n it takes to shell prompt.
Again when i type 'startx'.It gives me the following error message.

I m using P3 and a Lcd monitor of samsung (syncmaster 933,19") with 256 mb of RAM.
