I got a new Western Digital 160GB SATA drive today so I popped it in, already i had 2 Western Digital IDE 80GB drives using a IDE to SATA converter.... so I boot up the Fedora installer it works all nice and fine as usual but when I get to selecting the partitions I noticed it loaded/boot to the drive i didnt want the boot and other crap loaded too... so I turn off the machine and change around the SATA cables so then the 160GB drive is master on the SATA channel and it shows in BIOS fine... I boot the CD and it crashes it freezes when detecting SCSI drives.. so then I unplug 2 of the drives and try it still same effect.. crashes but this time they were different messages and such so I try some other configurations still doesnt work.... any ideas what to do? This new drive has been never used before so the first time i went to auto partition it initialized the drive... Im going to try some other configurations with the drives and hopefully figure something out.
