havin a blurred video output


am havin a prob in which the video output is blurred and elongated in the vertical direction.....in all the players its the same problem...

The entire screen is blurry ?

You ware playing back a video multimedia file and the output is blurry ?

Not sure what your actual problem is, please be more specific.

yes i am playin a video file and the putput is blurred.....
blurred in the sense video is not comin...some colourful pattern is comin...

Well then call it pop art and hang it in a museum.

On the other hand, if you would like help in solving it, I recommend you start by reading the sticky post at the head of this forum that tells you how to post a hardware problem. Because so far, after two posts and one request for more specific information, you have provided absolutely nothing that is useful in diagnosing your problem.

Sounds like you are trying to play a .wmv file and it's not decoding properly.. I run into that issue with wmv's occasionally.

have you installed the w32codecs ?

mplayer uses these codecs to decode video files..

I have also had good luck with Videolans VLC player
http://www.videolan.org/

you need ot be more specific when posting your issues. Which media players you have tried, the types of files you are trying to view, etc.. it's hard to help when we are guessing at the problem.
