I've got a Hauppauge PVR-350 installed. As far as I can tell everything is installed correctly:

However, when I try to run xawtv all I get is a blank screen. I've got the coax cable from my satellite receiver going into the Hauppauge. Here's the info I've got so far. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

xawtv, kdetv, tvtime.............do not work with the ivtv based cards (PVR 150, 250, 350) You need to use an application like mythtv or freevo to use hauppauge PVR cards.

You can test if it is working with mplayer /dev/video0

To test recording cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg
