Hardware buying


hello
i am about to buy a 5.1 sorund system, about 100€ i can spend,
there is genius woodwn 5.1 that i like
so if there is anyone who has this 5.1 sound system
i would like to know want kind of sound it produces
quality and stuff

IMHO, the Creative, Terratec and M-Audio soundcards produce good quality sound. I have not heard any Genius cards myself.

Check www.alsa-project.org to see whether a card is supported in Linux before you buy.
