Graphics Tablet
I am keen to add a graphics tablet to my RH8 workstation. I am running 2.4.20 and X 4.2.0. I wish to continue using my M$ optical mouse while adding a tablet for photo touch-ups etc.
Does anyone here use one of these on a similar installatation? If so, what product are you using, how does it perform and how do you connect it and with what drivers?
Thanks.

Wacom tablets are well supported, there is even a HOWTO about them that should provide a lot of generic tablet config info.

I've never used one, but the fact that XFree86 contains a wacom driver should make it the obvious choice for linux.

Running with a wacom intuos USB, also with my M$ intellimouse...
Both are handled through /dev/input/mice so either can be used as the pointing device...
Do note I am using devfs/usbdevfs/PCI-hotplug and USB-hotplug so most of this is automagic for me, YMMV
