Gnomad2 For newbies please

Hi all
I was given a creative zen music player for my b-day.
now i dont have windows and i run fc5.
i needed a simple way to put my music on the zen. so i read on intrenet that gnomad2 does that very well. so i did this:
Code:
[root@localhost a]# yum -y install gnomad2
it has installed the gnomad2 but when i open it i get an error saying "No jukeboxes found on USB bus".

I know that there has been lots of similar post all over the internet but i really dont get any of them.
so please some help me. thank you all in advance

If it isn't setup properly, you may have to run it as root.

well all that it says on the box and all the papers is: Creative ZEN 8GB MP3 Player.and the gnomad2 is :gnomad2 2.8.12.
just to let you know that when i try to check the usb this is what i get:

Code:
[ali@localhost ~]$ dmesg | tail
Bluetooth: HCI socket layer initialized
Bluetooth: L2CAP ver 2.8
Bluetooth: L2CAP socket layer initialized
Bluetooth: RFCOMM socket layer initialized
Bluetooth: RFCOMM TTY layer initialized
Bluetooth: RFCOMM ver 1.8
Bluetooth: HIDP (Human Interface Emulation) ver 1.1
eth0: no IPv6 routers present
usb 3-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 3
usb 3-5: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
am i checking it right? if yes why doesn't it register Zen? because iv seen on other posts that mostly it registers that its a creative zen.

Do you have libmtp installed? Only thing I could think of is upgrading to Gnomad2 2.9.0, and possibly upgrading libmtp to 0.2.4.

That dmesg output is fine, it doesn't tell you much though, that is all mine says.

Just Unmount

I had the same problem.

1. Connected my Zend Micro device via USB.
2. Ubuntu popped a window to tell me which application should I use.
3. I selected "do nothing".
4. Open Gnomad2 and the program said "No jukeboxes found on USB bus"

The problem, I realized, is that Ubuntu automatically mount the device to be used as a regular drive, and browse the files, and transfer them.

Solution.

Unmount the device: In Ubuntu open "My Computer" and right click the Zend icon, then choose "Unmount".

Now Gnomad will see it correctly
Rhythmbox will also be able to connect to the device and play back files.
